In this day tour we will drive in a mixed terrain of forest roads of both asphalt and dirt. We will visit Prionia at 1100m., the main starting point to the summits, the 15^th century monastery of St. Dionysios and hidden waterfalls where we can cool down from the ride.  

We will ride off the beaten track to selected spots where only locals know. We will have snacks and coffee at a mountain hut and then drive to ancient Dion, the most significant archaeological site of the area.

We will drive near the coast till the Platamon Castle, a well preserved crusader castle with amazing view. From here we take the road uphill to the lush slopes of south Olympus heading to the old village of Skotina. Its time for a stop and some rest to enjoy the sounds and colours of wild nature. On our way back we will stop at the traditionally restored village of Old Panteleimon at 450m. This is one of the most well preserved villages of northern Greece with amazing views to Olympic Riviera.

A short stop for homemade ice-cream at the coastal town of Platamon will close a full riding day with a sweet taste.

Finally we return to Litochoro at our home base and let our bikes rest.
